It is primarily auto-discard information, related to attachments.

Spam payloads are most generally sent as attachments, and since we have elected to turn off automatic broadcast of messages with attachments in Link (for a whole bunch of good reasons), a common spam vector is denied.

Only if excessive bounces are detected, or if an attachment is sent. Most Linkers are aware that attachments won't get through, but sometimes not.

Excessive bounces will occur if the sender's mail client or server is not configured correctly, or if the Internet is broken.

The last 48 hours has seen auto-discards at the rate of one every 4-5 minutes, which is rather tiresome and which I am now routinely discarding.
