I downloaded LO and found that
1: LO found the OO templates and incorporated 
them automatically, which was nice.

different. I see that LO and OO don't have some

substituting something different from OO.

My next activity is to test the .doc and .docx 
versions with someone who has MS Office to see if 
the files are still corrupted starting with the original template.
