That is a good one. I liked how they involved sport and music stars 
to show that being a 'geek' can be cool, too. Big Bang Theory has a 
lot to answer for, not in a good way.

I remember that feeling of writing the first BASIC program and having 
the result appear on the screen of my *own* computer. A very 
different sensation than cutting cards and handing them over to 
someone at the computer centre to run or even using the terminals to 
do something directly, which was a step up than handing over 
cardboard and waiting for a printout to arrive in a pick-up box.

Starting with a blank screen and typing in some characters that 
resulted in an action activates something entirely different in the 
psyche. This might explain the explosion in 'app' creation. Calling 
it 'coding' may not be the best way to go. Not sure.

The 1 million unfilled jobs was a shocker. Is it the same in Australia?
