hahaha, ask Telstra how that has worked out.
In-house with competent sys admins is going to be far more secure than
any outsourced setup.
But with Govt's you have too many penny pinching bureaucrats who know
NOTHING about IT, ordering IT managers to order their staff to do it the
way they think it should be done, not how it should be done, and too
many gutless IT managers who refuse to push back and make stand based on
reason and security.
