I'm with you on this, Frank.  The really bad part of this is the 
double whammy: pay the lawyer, pay the $2000 fee to remove from the 
complaints exposure website, or pay the $fine  because otherwise, "we 
have this nifty set-up with the credit agency to screw you, so good 
luck, Jack."
