                          Has anything improved with computers since 
2000? Since 1995?

                        Well, welcome to the adventures of "GEN Xer 
tries to darken the page". Episode one: find a page that you like which is:

                       Episode two: you find the page hard to read. Its 
background is too bright. So you hunt for Firefox add ons. You find one 
called "dark background switcher". But it doesn't show up anywhere after 
you install it! Maybe Mr Miyagi should have used this to test the 
patience of the Karate Kid. Better than wax on, wax off.

                     Episode three: Go to the Firefox options. You seem 
to be able to change fonts. But not on this page. And there doesn't seem 
to be any way of darkening a background.

                   Episode Four: you are left with this page 
http://danidraws.com/faq   that you want to read. But the background is 
so bright that it's like waking up and staring at a light bulb.
