I have an ISP providing my web site and a separate specialist company
the email, using the one domain name for both and it works well.
FastMail.com provide the email service. They have an excellent Spam
filter and the option of a "classic" web interface, which works on slow
links for tinkering with the settings. I am using the "full" service
(US$20 a year).
