Hi Stephen,

Why wouldn't they do a Ghengis Khan if they wanted and go west to the 'stans?
Or Mongolia or Siberia? At least they're connected by land - an invasion across
water and other unhappy countries would be guaranteed to fail.

A huge *empty* space?  Even country Chinese people need infrastructure: simply
land and water is not enough. 

Do you seriously think that, when needed, the stunningly inventive Chinese
couldn't figure out water conservation and distillation techniques that would
put our pathetic efforts to shame? 

I think we are capable of offering vastly greater amounts of humanitarian aid
to the world, not just China. Unfortunately, our political master don't.
