Most of the west of China has very few people and is toxin free.
As for the toxin. They put it there they need to fix it. Why should they get to wreck their own land and just move somewhere else?

You think they'd stop there? Have you heard of the Brisbane line? You want to give part of Australia away to a hostile
totalitarian government? Really?

The land is owned. I don't think the owners would view it as a win.
