Oh yes, you mean Google the search-engine (decent service, that).

Or maybe Google the leaner?  As in taking advantage of content like
satellite imagery, mapping-database entries, and maybe-out-of-copyright
books, and pretending they're providing the content.

Oh, okay, Google the lifter too - but as in 'light fingers' lifting.

(Yes, Google Maps *is* easily most accessible render of Australian
mapping data).
