Is there some way we can distinguish between code-switch usages which
communicate usefully to their audience (e.g. sori tumas, komputa i daun)
and those which do not (yumi mas kirapim ekanomik infrasitruksa)? Both
heard in Manus, pre-1980.
Many Tolai tree names were standard usage among forestry graduates 10 years
ago, and also commonplace in tok pisin bilong ailands.
