You may want to consider whether you should set you email to automatically
send those 'I am out of the office until ...' messages.

Basically, lists like this one consider such messages to be a 'ounce'. You
get a warning after a certain number of bounces. After three warnings, you
get chucked off unless no further bounces are received for 7 days after a
warning, in which case you get reprieved.

We have to do this otherwise the list will fill up with phantom email
addresses.

Think about it.
