A researcher friend of mine has encountered some words said to derive from
Tok Pisin on Takuu (Bougainville Autonomous Region):

karea general term for various types of univalve molluscs
kingking introduced type of lily
Sialeva southern village division on Nukuota Island, said to be a Solomons
PIjin word meaning 'independent'

I am not familiar with any of these terms in Tok Pisin and cannot find any
references in dictionaries. Is anyone familiar with their usage in Tok Pisin
or Pijin? Thanks for your help.
