About: quota | don't install programs

1. your H: drive (DISAN fileshare) quota is 1.5 GB. When you reach your
quota limit you will be sent a warning message. If you ignore the
warning and continue to save files, applications will begin to fail.
They will not be able to save.

Solution: don't attempt to go over your limit. If you get a warning
message clear out old files.

2. if you attempt to install software yourself on your Faculty-supplied
computer you may cause damage to the suite of programs already
installed, overload the network, or breach ANU computing-use guidelines.

Solution: don't install software. I will remove software installed
outside these guidelines and detach the machine from the network.

Greg
