Subject: Acronyms for ANU Colleges
To ANU College Convenors, Deans and Administrative Officers
This is to advise that the Vice-Chancellor has approved the following
acronyms for internal systems (i.e. HR, financial, student) reporting
purposes:
ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences CASS
ANU College of Asia and the Pacific CAP
ANU College of Business and Economics CBE
ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science CECS
ANU College of Law CoL
ANU College of Medicine and Health Sciences CMHS
ANU College of Science CoS
He has also endorsed that:
* "ANU" should always precede "College" for both brand awareness and
legal reasons
* College acronyms should never be used externally (or even
internally, for printed material, websites etc)
Administrative areas are being notified. Would you please advise areas
within your ANU College?
Best wishes
Janet Bruce
