ORIENT: 'Conferences and networking' - FAS/PAH/PSC Postgraduate Training Program

This week's postgraduate training seminar on the topic 'Conferences and 
networking' will be held in Seminar Room A, Coombs Building from 4.00 to 
about 5.30 (Thursday 25 May), with Virginia Hooker and Ed Aspinall as 
speakers.

All welcome, regardless of status or department.

Attending conferences is an important part or academic life. The 
experience can be both daunting and rewarding, whether one is presenting 
or just listing and developing an academic network.  Two experienced 
conferees will offer advice and anecdotes.
