The National Film and Sound Archive is hosting a substantial program of performances, talks and films to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Papua New Guinea's Independence.
The program includes a performance by George Telek, screening and discussion of his "Black Harvest" trilogy with film-maker Bob Connolly, a Q&A session with Les McLaren and Annie Stiven about their film "Taking Pictures", an introduction by Denis O'Rourke's family to his "Yumi Yet", and several other similar events, together with a daily screening program of rare New Guinea documentaries - details are listed in the attached program.
Cheers, Chris
