Dear colleagues
On 11 June from 1.00 to 2.30 the ANU will be hosting a round table with a delegation from PNG to discuss future research collaborations. The PNG delegation will include the Minister for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology and the CEO of the PNG Secretariat of Science and Technology (full list below). Importantly, "science" means social science as well as hard sciences. The aim of the discussion is to:

- Discuss PNG's new National Research Agenda
- Discuss research permit arrangements
- Discuss ways that the ANU can support training and supervision; exchanges, joint programs and other linkages with PNG institutions
If anyone is interested in participating in this round-table, please let Jess (cap.dean.ea at anu.edu.au<mailto:cap.dean.ea at anu.edu.au>) and myself know by COB Monday. Lunch will be provided. The venue is the Mills Room in the Chancelry.
