A message from ANU Pacific Institute Member Prof Margaret Jolly:

Dear colleagues

I am writing with the great news that Dr Siobhan McDonnell, CHL alumna has won the Australian Anthropological Society prize for best PhD thesis for her work. My Land My Life: Power, Property and Identity in Land Transformations in Vanuatu.

This was announced at the AAS conference in Adelaide last night and comes after Siobhan won the Gender Institute Prize for best thesis awarded in 2016. Very well deserved and warm congratulations from all of us Siobhan.

Best

Margaret
