Work available for speaker of a Pasifika language
Linguistics in CHL is looking for a speaker of a Pasifika language to assist in a Field Methods in Linguistics course. This will involve helping a small group of linguistics students to learn about and understand the grammar of your language by speaking in your language and translating words and sentences into your language. The classes for the course are in the September teaching break (7–21 September), and you will be paid for your time.
If you are interested in this job, or know someone who might be, please contact Laura Arnold (laura.arnold at anu.edu.au) for more details. In your email, please say a little bit about where you grew up, and the languages that you speak.
