[R2U.announce] Ride 2 Uni Day

Hi all,

 

It's approaching that time of year again. 

 

As with last year ANUgreen will be hosting a free ride to uni breakfast
in honour of the event that mobilises the nation - ride to work day Wed
15 October. This means pancakes, prizes, free drink bottles and a
greater concentration of lycra than you are likely to encounter in Union
Court at any other time during the year - with the possible exception of
Bush Week, depending on what the new students are dared to do.

 

If that's not exciting enough, come see Ned TAKE IT ALL OFF! Ned (see
attached pic) is so passionate about the cause he is going to strip off
and offer his cycling apparel as a prize to one lucky rider. Rest
assured ladies, he works out!

We have officially registered the ANU as a participating workplace with
the national ride to work day organisers and it would be great if
everyone can register and ride on the day. We are in the running for a
workplace prize and the more registered riders we get the more likely we
are to win and the stats are useful feedback for us.
