[Sailingclub] Message from Michael Davis

ANU sailors,

 

I am keen to get a Sharpie out for a few sails starting this weekend,
and hopefully down to Bateman's Bay for the end-of-season regatta. I
have one person who is keen for the mainsheet, but need another. I would
prefer a bowman (i.e. heavyish who knows how to trapeze and trim a kite)
but would settle for a helmsman, one who has sailed a sharpie or some
other fast boat with spinnaker.  Grant has mentioned Tony Precvich, so
Tony if you are keen let me know. But anyone else please let me know as
well.

 

If this doesn't eventuate, then I would also be keen to have a sail with
Andrew Sutton and Josh Payne on the yellow boat, if they do not have a
third crew member.

 

A few words about me: I was a committee member in the club a few years
ago, used to sail Cherubs (nationals and worlds), have sailed the Uni
Sharpies casually and at a couple of state title events, sailed Tasars
at IV, etc.
