[ANU Sailing Club] Sports Council Elections

Hi all,



The ANU Sports and Recreation Association (SRA) is holding elections
for its Sports Council over the next few days from 25-27 March 2008.



The SRA makes most of the decisions which affect ANU sporting clubs
including the ANUSC. These decisions include funding
decisions through the grants process and longer term strategic
decisions such as selecting the major projects for the future (eg the
new sports hall). While members of the council should not advance their
clubs interests unfairly, it is obviously very beneficial to clubs if
they have somebody on the council who understands their club. 



As a member of the ANUSC since 2000 and the only ANUSC member
nominating for the sports council I would appreciate it if you could
take time over the next 3 days to drop into the SRA (ANU gym) and vote.
