Ahoy there everyone,
So far it's been a big week at the ANU Sailing Club and it's not over yet.
Tuesday
We had 10 boats out in the YMCA twilight beginners racing. Really fun with different people doing well in different races. We also had the Mosquito out for the first time in 12 months (good work Brett and of course Glen Eaves who worked very hard on that).
Wednesday
We had Priority Road (one of the clubs Sharpies) out in the 35km winds. She absolutely screamed around the course and it was a hell of a lot of fun.
Saturday
YMCA racing with a trainee class for first time racers. Email me if you'd like to come and I'll make sure you get to the start on time and talk you thru the start procedures and course.
Sunday
Intermediate course starting at 2pm. Tom Ruut from the CYC will give a talk on race tactics. All the Lasers are spoken for but windsurfers are available. N.B. There is no opportunity for powerboat practical sessions (they are taken).
Cheers,
Adam Leavesley
