Hi everyone,

The ANU Sailing Club's Intermediate course is back. Come and learn new
skills, practice old ones and learn to race. The Intermediate Course is a
great way to improve your sailing and really get involved in the club.

The course consists of six sessions, running on Sundays and Tuesdays from
the 20th of November to the 6th of November and costs just $60 + one working
bee or an extra $20 for boat maintenance. Its open to all paid-up club
members and is particularly suited to those who did the beginner's courses
last season, have done some social sailing and want to learn some more about
beginner's racing (which is really good fun and not nearly as scary as it
first sounds!) - although everyone is welcome. Its also a great way for
those who are new to the club with a small amount of sailing experience to
get to know the club, the boats and the people. The course consists of three
Sunday afternoons of on the water tuition, each session taken by a different
experienced sailor in the club, plus three Tuesday evening sessions which
involve taking part in the YMCASC Twilight beginner's races with briefings,
debriefings and some on the water coaching.
