[Sres-postdocs] SRES 5th birthday breakfast tomorrow - don't sleep in ...

Dear SRES people

As usual, we'll have a gaggle of distinguished guests along for 
breakfast tomorrow:
the VC, DVC(E) Malcolm Gilles, PVC Robin Stanton, Dean of Graduate 
Studies Gail Huon, Director of ANUIE & CRES Will Steffen, Chair of 
College of Science Denis Evans, Dean of Science Tim Brown, Director 
RSPAS Robin Jeffrey, Director Crawford School Andrew McIntrye, & 
various other Heads etc ...

The VC will, amongst other things, present academic prizes to SRES students.

So please remember to set your alarms and join them for breakfast at 
7.45 - all welcome & encouraged, to help out guests feel welcome [and 
therefore look kindly on us for another year]...

On other matters:
- the Forestry Foyer elephant will soon go on its annual Bush Week 
vacation, so don't be alarmed by its absence;
- I'll be emailing staff later in the week about a staff meeting on 
the morning of Bush Day, 28 July, to finish in good time ahead of the 
International Lunch extravaganza [Kylie C-B's earlier email refers];
- let's know of any pressing semester 2 issues as they arise...
