occluded carbon in phytoliths

Hello list members,
we are interested in the occluded C of grass phytoliths (C3 and C4), specifically the stable carbon isotopic signature as well as NMR chemistry of the Carbon.
Please contact me if anybody has experience in extracting organic Carbon from phytoliths and is interested in a possible collaboration.
