AJAL is looking for someone who'd write an academic article from
Timor-leste.
The full blurb is:
The Australian Journal for Asian Law (AJAL) is seeking contributions for
their Special Issue on Women and Legal Change in Asia. Article
themes/topics for the issue can include:
- contemporary law reform relating to women’s rights (that is, laws
debated, passed or implemented within about the last five years);
- contemporary women’s rights movements (that is, agitations for legal
change within about the last five years);
- women’s advocacy on topics such as sexual, gender-based or domestic
violence in relation to legal regulation or from a socio-legal perspective;
- political and social tensions between different groups in society related
to the progression or limitation of women’s rights; and
- any article with a critical or intersectional focus on the experiences
under law or impact of the law on different groups of women within a
society.
Articles for AJAL are usually 8-12,000
