Diálogosis an open-access, indexed, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated topublishing studies in Philosophy, Social Sciences, and Humanities. It aims to promote thesharing of knowledge through approaches that consider the diversity of worldviews, reflection, the exchange of experiences and the deepening of issuesrelevant to society. There are no article processing fees for publication in the journal.Organized by the Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas of the UniversidadeNacional Timor Lorosa’e (Timor-Leste), Diálogos has been published annuallysince 2016.

The2024 edition will focus on the theme:

Environment, Tourism, and Sustainability

Expected contributions should address thesociety's relationship with the environment; experiences of sustainabletourism; the impacts of disordered environmental exploitation; environmentalpreservation and the socialization of information; the role of media and theinternet in the relationship between the environment, tourism, andsustainability; innovative practices and perspectives; the relationship betweenpolitics, economy, and sustainability practices in tourism development; different types oftourism (religious, historical, cultural, etc.) and their relationship with theenvironment and local communities, among other topics. Articles may address eachof these topics or the intersections between these elements.

AuthorGuidelines:

   - The Diálogos Journal follows the norms and recommendations of APA (7th edition);
   - We accept articles written in Tetun, Portuguese, and English;
   - Articles should be written in Times New Roman, 12, justified, A4 format (210x297), 1.5 line spacing, 1.0 paragraph indentation;
   - Articles can have a minimum of 4,000 words and a maximum of 8,000 words, including title, abstract, keywords, references, and notes;
   - Abstract: abstracts should have between 100 and 250 words, single-spaced. Articles written in Portuguese or Tetun must have an abstract in the original language of the text and another abstract in English. Articles written in English must have an abstract in the original language of the text and another in Portuguese;
   - Keywords: articles written in Portuguese or Tetum must have between 3 and 5 keywords in the original language of the text and in English. Articles written in English must have between 3 and 5 keywords in the original language of the text and in Portuguese;
   - Images, graphics, and tables must be submitted in high resolution and with source descriptions;
   - Italics: for foreign words, titles (books, events, etc.), and emphasis;
   - Bold and underline should be avoided;
   - Footnotes: only if relevant to the understanding of the text.
   - To ensure the integrity of blind peer review, articles should be submitted without the author's name and without biographical or explanatory notes that could identify the author(s).

Criteriaevaluated for publication:

   - Structure: the structure should present internal logic concerning the topics addressed;
   - Writing: the text should be clear, with quality spelling and grammar, and a consistent argument related to the topic;
   - Technical and theoretical aspects: the text should demonstrate the correct use of the concepts discussed;
   - Originality: consideration will be given to originality, novelty, the level of innovation presented, as well as relevance to the study area of the work.

Diálogos é uma revista acadêmicade acesso aberto, indexada, revisada por pares, destinada a publicar estudos emFilosofia, Ciências Sociais e Humanidades. Tem como objetivo ser um espaço deencontro e partilha de conhecimento por meio de abordagens que contemplem adiversidade de visões de mundo, a reflexão, a troca de experiências e oaprofundamento de questões relevantes para a sociedade. Não há taxas de processamentode artigos para serem publicados na revista. Organizada pela Faculdade deFilosofia e Ciências Humanas da Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa’e (Timor-Leste),Diálogos é publicada anualmente desde 2016.

Convidamos a todos(as) os interessados(as) asubmeterem trabalhos para a nossa próxima edição, com o tema:
MeioAmbiente, Turismo e Sustentabilidade

São esperados trabalhos que abordem a relação dasociedade com o meio ambiente; experiências de turismo sustentável; os impactosda exploração do meio ambiente de forma desordenada; a preservação ambiental e asocialização de informações; o papel dos meios de comunicação e da internet na relaçãomeio ambiente, turismo e sustentabilidade; práticas e perspetivas inovadoras; arelação entre política, economia e práticas de sustentabilidade edesenvolvimento do turismo, diferentes modalidades de turismo (religioso, histórico,cultural e etc.) e a sua ralação com o meio ambiente e as comunidades locais, entreoutros tópicos. Os artigos podem abordar cada um dos tópicos ou as interseçõesentre esses elementos.

Orientações para os autores:

1) A Revista Diálogos segue as normas e recomendações da APA (7° edição);

2) Recebemos artigos escritos em Tétum, Português e Inglês;

3) Os artigos devem ser escritos em fonte Times New Roman, tamanho 12,justificado, formato A4 (210x297), espaço entre linhas 1,5, recuo de parágrafo1,0;

4) Os artigos podem ter no mínimo 4,000 palavras e no máximo 8,000 palavras,incluindo título, resumo, palavras-chave, referências e notas;

5) Resumo: os resumos devem ter entre 100 e 250 palavras, com espaçosimples. Artigos escritos em português ou tétum devem ter um resumo na línguaoriginal do texto e outro resumo em inglês. Artigos escritos em inglês, devemter um resumo na língua original do texto e outro em português;

6. Palavras-chave: artigos escritos em português ou tétum devem ter entre 3e 5 palavras-chave na língua original do texto e em inglês. Artigos escritos eminglês, devem ter entre 3 e 5 palavras-chave na língua original do texto e emportuguês;

7) Imagens, gráficos e tabelas devem ser enviados em alta resolução e com adescrição da fonte;

8) Itálico: para palavras estrangeiras, títulos (livros, eventos, etc.) eênfase;

9) Deve-se evitar os marcadores em negrito e sublinhado;

10) Notas de rodapé: somente se forem relevantes para a compreensão dotexto.

11) Para garantir a integridade da avaliaçãocega, realizada por pares, os artigos devem ser enviados sem o nome do autor esem notas biográficas ou explicativas que possam permitir a identificação do(s)autor(es).

Critérios avaliados nos artigos submetidos à publicação:

1) Estrutura: a estrutura precisa apresentar uma lógica interna com relaçãoaos tópicos abordados;

2) Redação: o texto precisa apresentar clareza, qualidade ortográfica egramatical, argumentação consistente com o assunto abordado;

3) Aspetos técnicos e teóricos: o texto precisa apresentar o uso correto dosconceitos abordados, bem como demonstrar domínio sobre os mesmos;

4) Originalidade: será considerado a originalidade, o ineditismo, o nível deinovação apresentado, bem como a pertinência para a área de estudo do trabalho.
