Dear Michael Leach,

I am writing to remind you of the Gosling-Lim Postdoctoral Fellowship grant funding opportunity. Southeast Asian Nationals from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam are invited to apply. Applicants will need to be within 3 years of PhD conferral to be eligible. Although encouraged, AAS Membership is not a requirement to apply for this fellowship opportunity.

The Fellowship provides $55,000 USD of funding for 10-12 months of postdoctoral research and writing while based at an academic institution other than their home institution. Preference will go to applicants who propose to be affiliated with the University of Michigan’s Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS). The application deadline is February 3, 2025.
