I tend to agree. This laptop is a couple of years old, it's the original
battery, it's been well used, on planes too this year I might add! It's
been used in court rooms, it's been used in bedrooms!

I think you have more chance of being killed or injured in a terrorist
attack than by one of these batteries or a bus!

Speaking of which, and I probably shouldn't say this, but hell why not. If
security at airports is to the point of basically not allowing carry on any
more, and shoes are being x-rayed, I'm confused.

(Now I can see ASIO knocking on my door, but they can join the queue behind
all the State, Local Council and other Agencies!)

These terrorists are suicide right? And so they know they are going to die
and that is there intent anyway.

So, my wife and I were talking about a new script idea and I said to her
there is one way, that any number of these minority radicals can avoid ALL
the detection processes and still do the deed.

Swallow the bomb.

I can tell next time I go to the airport I'll be whisked away to have a
full body X-Ray or MRI now hey!

OK, that's it, I'm never leaving my home again. Anyone could now be a
ticking weapon of destruction!

(What a tangent!)

Mind you I can't see radicals rushing out to buy up the last of the "out
there" rapid disassembling batteries!

Well I can say that the community itself is doing a great job of sharing
direct URL information. I'd not actually had a chance to look at the apple
web site myself, although my wife has been there the last few days and
although we've actually talked about this for the last few weeks, she
didn't even notice the link, nor did it cross her mind that the laptop she
was using might be affected.

So it's really a "worm" like situation where people will pass it on and
hopefully everyone will gain the benefit of the offered solution.

I doubt that will affect Sony at all. Considering they hold huge portions
of the technology markets world wide, the production of films, the making
of DVD's, the technology consumers purchase to play the DVD's, the
technology to view the DVD's, and a large portion of the porn industry's
expenditure for making porn, it will be but a hassle for some Sony
Employees to have to stamp a few pages for a few months before they return
to their previously monotonous jobs!
