[LINK] Intel Classmate PC for Education

Intel's "Classmate PC" (previously the "Eduwise") is a project for an 
educational computer for developing nations 
<http://www.obook.info/blogs/view_post.php?content_id=55>. It has 
similar specifications to the OLPC $100 laptop, with a 7" LCD 
display, flash memory and no hard disk. Unlike the OLPC which uses 
Linux, the Classmate PC will use an embedded version of  Windows XP, 
with Linux as an option. But I suggest an even cheaper $US50 could be 
made by using mobile phone and pocket calculator construction 
techniques, rather than those of laptop computers.
