...in the case of the recent protests in Melbourne, the footage was 
provided by the protesters.

In the case of 9/11 the footage we saw over and over was amateur footage.

did anyone catch the snippet on ABC TV news last night which was 
obviously advertising footage for a coating to seal asbestos roofs.

I am under the impression the stations pay to broadcast the footage....
