I believe they have in at least Vic and NSW. I heard an ABC story
saying that there were differences in how much you could claim to do
it. I'll guess and say it was something like $100 or near that in
Vic, and $250 in NSW. One caller pointed out that you could get a
retrofit from Bunnings for about $20! Some plumbers called and said
the estimates that were being offered of $300 and higher were just
attempts by brethren to cash in.
I didn't ring in with my solution. Put a brick in the cistern. Works
great if you don't want to spring for dual flush!
