British citizens in Guantanamo were protected by their government. Not
so for Australians. Now this.
Unless things have changed since last I checked, I'm entitled to British
citizenship (my father was born in London). It looks as though, under
the current government, my Australian citizenship is of little practical
worth against the US. I might have to trade up. Writing that grieves
me more than I can say.
