the cost of disk is so low these days.

i wasn't even trying and ended up with 1TB in my home machine.

as for watching it all, of course they don't. most of it is deleted once
they realise it's not to their taste or not what the filename implies it is.

RSS feeds are being used to automatically start bittorrent downloads and
hence they pull down a whole bunch of stuff they aren't interested in...
