Most people seem to think that it is not worth turning a idling car
engine off if it will be off for less than, say, about a minute.
IIRC, the correct minimal off time, i.e. benefit, is realised if the
car ws off for more than about 5 seconds. That is how much fuel is required
for a restart: 5 seconds of idling fuel.
