Selling yourself short there Tom. I'd value my time at three times that. 
Perhaps you're neglecting on-costs?

Content is the same for both free-to-air and pay TV, as is program 
running time. The proportion of advertising is thus similar. It seems 
Foxtel is charging its customers to watch ads.
