I don¹t get the math:

<<Cafe (50 seats): increase from $62 to $10,010.

Get ready for a non-musical environment or possibly replay of radio.>>

In the article it suggests an increase of 15x doesn¹t that equate to $930
rather than $10K?

Its hard to argue with the Copyright Tribunal findings... What should be
happening though is to ensure that the money actually gets to the right
artists and not just on some follow the dollar scheme that societies love to
use, that favours the companies rather than the creators.

Many of the café¹s don¹t use the radio and therefore pop music of the 60¹s,
70¹s, 80¹s and 90¹s. They use ambient music of the likes of Buddha Bar... I
would like to see the music industry have to provide a proper report of the
venue play logs to the artists.
