Appreciate your comments Paul. Agreed BPL does not seem an .au answer.
Also hope another appropriate solution reveals itself to someone soon.
Not entirely convinced the national scheme will reach the burbs of my
town and certainly not tomorrow. (Sigh, 48kps dialup, after how long?)


And, taking your opportunity to double-up a link email, the following
twitter notification arrived in the inbox. It's via a very well known
ex-fed Polly. Apparently he thinks i am another id. Have informed him
one might not be whom he might think i am, however he has held rather
important it-related portfolios.  In one way am glad he is keeping up
with emerging technologies, but, in another way it's somewhat a worry.

Still maybe one should've twitterd his followers re filtering .au net :)
