Maybe I fail to appreciate the way things are done in the Apple world,
but when I heard that a tablet was coming that would somehow sit between
the Mac laptops and the iPhone, I was excited. But the iPad is sooooo
unlike what we all know as computers. Fine, people will say that my
expectations were wrong, but I do need a computer with all the usual
office automation apps, with multitasking, and it's counter-intuitive to
me that the iPad wouldn't meet those needs as a matter of course.
I reckon the iPad is to the conventional computer as the iPhone is to
conventional phones. Not a very good computer/phone, but almost
certainly an amazing new kind of gadget.
Will OS 4.0 really fix this?
Cheers,
