[LINK] Tony Abbott's NBN, Mad as Hell

Turnbull has been forced into the position of arguing that black is white
from day one of the NBN.   This works for party faithfuls but not so well
anywhere else.  I though this was an astute move by the Abbott clique.

Everyone including a lot of Liberal voters kinda assumes that Turnbull will
replace Abbott sooner or later because Abbott is such a jerk but this was
never very likely.  There is a core of the Liberal Party who tick all the
nutjob right wing boxes - eg, there's no global warming, the CFG  didn't
happen, etc - who hate Turnbull and his "small L" liberal views.  Those
guys won't change their minds any time soon.
