Actually the 3D printer business maybe our best oriental defense
mechanism yet.
Our economy has gone to pack because the average Western industrial
manufacturing costs far outweigh subsidised freight and lower labour costs.
On this one, I think TomW is actually right on the money.
In the abstract; lets do to the plumbing industry what we did we did to
advertising, Television, Newspapers and the Movies.... Wipe 'em out.
I was kinda worried how we would be able to order plumbing parts after
21/12/2012... and here's an excellent answer.
Of course for those that don't want to learn Solidworks, AutoCad 3D or
Maya (to be able to design the 3D printing job....), there is always
eBay and cheap knock off genuine part imitators.
Stock tip of the day - Short - Reece Plumbing (Who cares about their
jobs...)
I just wanna know one thing...
Does each 3D printer get a free at home chemistry set with a bag of
rubber tree seeds from the seed vault to be able to grow a rubber tree,
mix the correct (See below for choices) compound, harden it and include
lubricant graphite and mould into the appropriate shape for 3D printing
and a suggestion list by toilet model as to the appropriate ingredients ?
Or do we still have to buy the blanks from China ?
