spouting rambling pseudo-disassociated gibberish is definitely not
prescribed.  

and if you really must post, please try to avoid the
stream-of-consciousness style - it's not a new and exciting literary
technique, it's a greatly over-used and abused cliche, primarily used to
depict the distress and confusion of a disturbed mind (which should make
self-evident the reason why it's not an appropriate - or useful - style
otherwise)
