Ahoy sailors and sailorettes,

The Australian University games is being held in Perth in September. ANU would need a team of 6-8 students to enter. We may be able to organise some training over winter in the YMCA Pacers(same boat you'd race in Perth; more details below). Please let me know if you're interested (must be a student) and we might be able to organise something. At this stage I have no indication of costs, but one step at a time. Is anyone up for this?

This from the Sydney University Sailing Club website:

The major university sailing event for 2010 – the Australian University Games (AUG) at Perth is in September 2010. The sailing program at AUG will include match racing on foundation 36 yachts and teams racing on pacers. Teams of 6 to 8 students can represent their university in Australia’s largest annual multi-sport event, which attracts between 6000 and 8000 university students annually from 42 universities.
